What is the School Family Education (SFE) Programme?
SFE aims to enhance the quality of family life by making family life education resources easily available to parents, students, teachers and other school staff through the setting up of a family resource area and provision of family life education programme. SFE is a programme aimed at holistic development of individuals and families, and seeks to impact the 3 target groups - parents, school staff and students.
It is found that a child’s success is directly related to parental involvement, which helps the child to perform better in school and show positive attitudes and behaviors.

Rainbow Room
The Family Resource Centre called the Rainbow Room - jointly named by Jency Phua Li Xuan of Pri 1A and Charity Lim Shu Ann of Pri 4A - provides reading and family materials with information on skills and support for parents and children. It is a cosy place within the school premises (beside the bookshop); where parents can network and share on family matters and form support groups with other parents.
